校舍占地面积53547 m2，建筑面积20427.28 m2，环境幽雅。一期、二期工程已建成教学大楼、报告厅、办公大楼、图书大楼、实验大楼、临时食堂及学生宿舍等，重点配备微机、语音、演播、视听、多媒体、电化教室等专用教室，校内安装程控电话网、校园电脑网络等现代通讯设备。校园广场、体育看台美观气派。学校还配有微格教室，在2010建成。
大学本科及以上学历占63.11℅，星级教师5名。迄今共有100多篇教学论文或经验总结分别发表在各级各类专业刊物上；已立项的国家级课题子课题1项、省级课题2项、市级课题7项、区级课题10项，已结题的市级课题6项，区级课题7项，课题的数量和质量均居全区中学前列。
根据本校的办学方针和特点，创设了《德育工作手册》，建立了教师住校值周制度，实行“三全”德育，学校先后被评为区先进家长学校、区德育工作先进集体。现学校还为学生的日常行为的规范，设计了一本《修身本》。
2004-2005年学校先后获得区一级学校、区A级信用学校和台州市示范性学校的殊荣；学校连续三年获得区中小学科技文化艺术节B组第一名，其中舞蹈、声乐连年均获得一、二等奖；2003年区中小学生运动会中学校由原来的第六名跃升为第四名；2004年区中小学生运动会中学校荣获第三名；2003年中考共有43位学生被椒江一中公费录取，2004年中考共有73位同学被椒江一中公费录取；2004年全国数学竞赛中肖仙谦同学取得优异成绩。

With the common faith, we gather in this new land, annotating the holiness of education Recalled the past, the years were towering. Through the wind and rain, time has brought great changes to the school and great accomplishment has been achieved with the songs of triumph ever since it was founded. Working with concerted efforts, we weild a brush and splash ink to draw the grand plan. Looking ahead, we are filled with boundless confidence. Embracing the mission of “all for students’future”, the principle of “judging students by appreciation, treating teachers in manners”, building up the consciousness of “the school sprit is the face, the quality is the life”, with the slogan of “doing today, thinking tomorrow, staring at the day after tomorrow”, we are trying to realize the sustainable development of education.
